Terms of Service
Effective June 2026.
These terms govern your use of Haru, presented under the Beyond the Singularity product brand. By creating an account or using Haru, you agree to them.
Who can use Haru
You may use Haru if you are old enough to form a binding agreement in your country. If you are a minor, use Haru only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity under your account. Tell us at support@beyond-the-singularity.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Your content
Your diary entries are yours. You grant Haru the permission needed to process them — including turning them into Korean Stories, images, grammar, vocabulary, phrases, voice, and practice — so we can provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your entries, and we do not sell them.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse Haru: no unlawful content, no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service, and no use that infringes others' rights.
Subscriptions and billing
When paid plans launch, they will be monthly auto-renewing subscriptions. You can cancel anytime, and access continues through the period you paid for unless the purchase channel requires otherwise. Web and app prices may differ because they use different payment processors. See Pricing and the Refund Policy.
Changes to the service
Haru is an evolving product. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time. Haru is a learning aid and does not certify language proficiency or guarantee specific learning outcomes.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is.” We work to keep Haru accurate and reliable, but cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions: support@beyond-the-singularity.com.
